The relationship of the two award winning actresses, has been an inspiration for people in and out of the LGBT community.
Unfortunately, Thishiwe and Mandisa are no longer an item, and took to social media to announce their split. They haven’t revealed why they broke up, but both Thishiwe and Mandisa pointed out that it has been a while since they went their separate ways.
“It’s time. Thishiwe and I have been broken up for a while now. I feel incredibly grateful for the past (almost) 4 years,” Mandisa said.
From both their statements, the two exes do not harbor bitter feelings towards each other. In fact, they celebrate the love they have shared over the years, and thanked everyone who supported them while they were still a couple.
“Beautiful people. Because you loved and supported us, we must let you know. Mandisa and I broke up a while back. It is a Love I will always treasure and honor, and all is good,” Thishiwe said.
