Pharmacist Assistant QPB Opportunity at Clicks Bayswater

Clicks Group is inviting applications for a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (QPB) to join their Bayswater store in Bloemfontein. This permanent role focuses on providing pharmaceutical care, supporting dispensary operations, and ensuring customers receive high-quality service within the scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
Manage stock control, including repacking medicines and accurate inventory handling.
Perform day-to-day dispensary administration efficiently.
Assist in compounding medicines accurately under supervision.
Provide general health advice to customers.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
Complete ad hoc operational tasks as required by management.

Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate with Maths (essential).
Meet Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Pharmacist Assistants (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills and Knowledge

Product knowledge, including Health Isle and OTC medicines.
Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
Customer service orientation with ethical and compliant work practices.
Teamwork, integrity, and attention to detail.
Basic calculations and IT proficiency, including MS Office and business operating systems.
