Claire Mawisa, tweeted that her body is a temple, and other people’s bodies are a night club, a few years back, but is still receiving backlash to this day.

The veteran media personality has finally decided to engage with the masses on the issue. Claire explained that all she meant was that her body is sacred, as she treats it well, whereas most people treat their bodies badly. Hence she used, the temple and nightclub comparisons.

“people ask me all the time how i don’t age. then i tweet that my body is a temple, implying that it is sacred & i treat it well, & most people treat their bodies badly. so many years later, people are still losing their shit about that tweet. they’re deeply hurt, confused & mad,” she said.

As expected, not everyone is buying into Claire’s explanation. Some are still offended, and their aired their opinions on the comments section.
