A Vision Mixer Wanted At Newzroom Afrika. Newzroom Afrika is a premier South African 24-hour TV news channel broadcasting in Southern Africa, East and West Africa. They are looking for a Vision Mixer to join their organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Vision Mixer is responsible for the online edit via switching on the mixing desk.
• The vision mixer will also be responsible for mixing between cameras.
• Responsible for routing live and OB sources, cropping of pictures, creating multi windows, resizing of windows according to picture.
• Ensures that the desk is operational, tests all sources/elements on the desk to make sure that they are all working.
•  Also creates effects (super impose, cross fades).
• Adjusts chroma keys for virtual sets.
• Mixes in the GFX from the Maestro system.
• Mixes in visuals from the Command system.
• Responsible for being vigilant in removing incorrect content.
