As Bonang Matheba will say, “Onward and upwards, Pearl is living up to that saying. She has just been announced as the latest addition to SABC1’s educational youth talk show, Daily Thetha.
“I hadn’t anticipated that I’d need my earpiece so soon after leaving Morning Live 4 months ago Thank God that we never miss our blessings. I’m thrilled to be the latest addition on @dailythetha_sabc1 I don’t take the opportunity for granted. See you on the silver screen,” she said.
Pearl has without a doubt worked hard to be where she is today. She started her career officially in 2010, on YFM. After leaving YFM, Pearl, got a job at Silverstar Casino as an MC. In 2011, she worked for SABC, as a sports news anchor. Pearl proved her versatility as she anchored the news on SABC’s 24-hour news channel as well as SABC’s radio broadcasting station, Metro FM, as a newsreader.
She then went on to co-host Morning Live with Simphiwe Ncongwane over the weekends. These are just some of the impressive jobs on Pearl’ resume. She is currently working alongside Mo Flava on Metro FM.
