For Nomvelo Mzolo, it is a different story. Instead of being a musician, media personality, reality show or actress, she opted for athletics. She is a Hockey player, doing amazing things in the sport. In 2025 Nomvelo got selected as the Vice Captain for Eastern Gauteng Schools Hockey u/13A. She has also bagged many awards in the sport, and her supportive family is always by her side.
Nomvelo continues to make herself and her family proud with how she is doing in the sport. In a recent league game, she was announced the Player of the Match. Her mother Ntombi Mzolo took to social media to gush over the achievement. Nomvelo’s aunt Vusiwe Ngcobo also said how proud she is of her niece.
