Makhadzi Heartbroken After Missing Out On A SAMA Nomination #SAMA26
Makhadzi Heartbroken After Missing Out On A SAMA Nomination. Those who have been long in the entertainment industry, often say a person talent is not based on the number of awards they get. This might be the case with Makhadzi, who, no matter the hits she releases is still not getting the recognition she deserves.
Many are celebrating the just released the 2020 virtual South African Music Awards nomination, and sadly Makhadzi’s name is not in the picture. One would have thought the talented musician will be scooping many awards this year, but unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case.
Her single Haka Matorokis, made waves across the continent, and cemented her mark as one of the best performers in the country. Makhadzi took to Twitter to congratulate the nominees and express her disappointment for not making it”Congratulations to all @TheSAMAs nominees..so said for not being recognized after what matorokisi did to AFRICANS last year,” she said.
She also let her fans know that, “I submitted everything is just that ndinga ndoneta tshinyama. Your love and support matters.”
Leading the nominees is the award winning Prince Kaybee with four nominations. He is followed by Rapper K.O. who bagged himself three nominations. This year’s SAMAs will be done virtually because of Covid-19. They have found a new home and will be broadcast for the first time on Mzansi Magic.
