Johnny Clegg’s Son Jesse Remembers Him A Year After His Passing. On this day last year, the nation was mourning the loss of a great man. Johnny Clegg was announced dead at the age of 66, after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.

Although it has been a year, no one has forgotten the award winning music legend. One of those who remembered Clegg on the first anniversary of his death, is his son Jesse. He took to social media to express how much he misses and still loves his father. Jesse is also a musician and the two often took the stage together to serenade crowds.

“Today marks one year since you left us. I think of you and miss you every day. Love you always dad,” Jesse said. Clegg is survived by his wife Jenny, and his other son, Jaron.
