Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience writing for television or film
• Capacity to write dramatic and comedic scenes and to follow through with unambiguous prose
• Research and time management skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken Afrikaans and English
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly and write believable characters
• Understand character and long form plot development
• A knack for writing realistic, nuanced dialogue and engaging plots with on set direction
• Strong organisational skills 
• High levels of integrity and confidentiality
• Initiative, patience, self-disciplined, flexible, and reliable
• Applicants will be required to write a test script
