10 Effective Ways To Treat Mild Coronavirus Symptoms At Home. It goes with out saying that Coronavirus has definitely hit home. So we all need to be more vigilant than ever. The good news is that most people will only have mild symptoms.

Mild symptoms of Covid-19 include, fever (a temperature above 37.8°C or skin which feels hot to touch), continuous cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, soar throat, aches and pains. If you have mild symptoms, your doctor may recommend that you recover at home.

Although there is no cure for this virus, there are many simple ways to treat the symptoms that will help your body fight it. The following remedies can come in handy of you experience these symptoms.

1. Drink Plenty of Fluids

Drink enough water so that your pee is a pale. Make sure those fluids have a little bit of salt and a little bit of sugar in them because that way you get the fluid absorbed into your body. Avoid alcohol as this will make you more dehydrated.

2. Take Vitamin C

Vitamin C supports the activity of our immune cells, especially when they work more than they should during outbreaks. It is recommend you take 1 to 3 grams a day, on top of a healthy diet that’s rich in fresh vegetables and fruit.

3. Use Over-The-Counter Medicines

This is to treat some of your symptoms, as there is not currently a cure for COVID-19. For most viral infections, including flu and the common cold, simple painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen are widely recommended.

4. Try Cough Medicine

If you have a wet cough with lots of mucus, you want to take an expectorant to help get the mucus out. If you have a dry cough, a cough suppressant is what you want. Make sure you choose the right one.

You should use a separate bathroom, if available, and avoid using the kitchen while others are present.

9. Find Ways To Cope With The Stress

During this time, remember to take care of yourself and manage your stress. Do activities you enjoy, such as reading a book or watching a funny movie. Also connect with friends and family, such as with phone or video calls. Avoid watching or reading too much news or spending too much time on social media.

10. Seek Medical Attention

You should keep an eye on your symptoms and seek prompt medical attention if your condition is significantly worsening. If your illness is worsening or your symptoms haven’t improved after seven days, seek medical attention as soon as possible. Call the doctor or emergency room and tell them your symptoms before going in.
