SA Celebs Weigh In On The Easing Of The Alcohol Ban. This is a day that many have declared as New Year’s day. Finally those who love alcoholic beverages are now happy that the sale ban has been lifted under level 3 regulations.
As of the 1st of June, any venue with a license could sell alcohol but only from Monday to Thursday between 9 am and 5 pm. This saw people getting up as early as 1am, to stock up on their favorite beverages.
Social media went abuzz with pictures and videos of people happy that the thirst days are over. Celebrities also joined in to share their view on the fact that we are a nation that definitely loves alcoholic beverages.
The likes of Andile Ncube, Ntsiki Mazwai and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi weighed in on the matter.
