Ukhozi FM’s Tshatha Ngobe Receives False Coronavirus Test Result. Earlier today Khathide Tshata Ngobe told his listeners during his morning show that he recently positive for coronavirus.

Tshatha shared the news on-air, saying: “I wish to inform Ukhozi listeners that I have been working from home. As you would know, on Tuesday, I posted a video of myself taking on Instagram getting tested for the virus. The test came out positive.”

On a surprising twist of events, it has turned out that the results are false. The media personality has now been told that he in fact tested negative for the virus. According to his employer, the SABC, Tshata’s false positive Covid-19 test result was a lab-error.

The confirmation for the positive test result was based on the official lab results presented to the employee. The employee has since been alerted by the lab in question that an error occurred during the initial testing. New test results, were then presented, whose outcome was negative.
