Prince Kaybee and Euphonik Share Different Opinions On DJs Performing Live On TV For Free
Prince Kaybee and Euphonik Share Different Opinions On DJs Performing Live On TV For Free. The lockdown has been a lot for many artists in the country, as they had no gigs, shows or performances lined up.
Having noted that, some still created opportunities for themselves through online gigs. One of those gigs being the Lockdown House Party which took the country by storm.
This has given a lot of artists exposure and a massive fan base. However, Prince Kaybee has cautioned fellow DJs against doing live sets on TV for free. “Stop doing those live sets on TV for free,” the award winning artist said.
Euphonik who also has been in the industry for years, jumped in and reminded Prince Kaybee that he took part for free in a 13 week TV competition for DJs. “Why must they not do it? What lessons can you teach besides a loose comment, ” Euphonik asked.
We all know Prince Kaybee is never the one to back out of a debate. He set the record straight saying the DJ live sets on TV are sponsored per episode, and other partakers like crew members are paid, sow why not the DJs.
About the competition he entered while he was still a fresh face, he said, “1s and 2s was competition show, you know coming from the door, it’s either you win the cash prize or nothing.”
No love lost, it looks like they both have the interest of upcoming DJs at heart.
