Unfortunately for Hlomla Dandala even to this day, his parents are still not that supportive. The veteran actor concurred with a statement similar to his situation. “This is sooooo true. Both my parents are still waiting for me to get a real job,” he said.

The sad part is that although Hlomla is a well known actor, his parents have never seen his work. “Not the movies, series, soapies the lot. Not one. And it’s okay. It’s not their life. It’s mine. My fire must come from within. One day they’ll see it,” now this is sad.
