Asavela Mngqithi Sings The Praises of Her Isibaya Departing Colleague Muzi Mthabela. Another great talent is leaving the Mzansi Magic hit soapie, Isibaya. Muzi Mthabela who played Duma on the show is exiting to focus on other major projects.

This has saddened many fans of Isibaya as well as the remaining cast members. One of those who is touched by Mthabela’s exit is Asavela Mngqithi. As much as it hurts to lose a colleague, the actress consoles herself by looking at the lessons she has learned by working alongside Mthabela.

“Thank you for being a wonderful human being ,I’ve learnt a lot and will continue learning from you. Inkosi ikwandisele iphinde ikukhanyisele phambili. @muzi_mthabela you will be missed on set,” she said.

Mthabela has been with Isibaya for seven years. His character grew over the years, from being a hitman for the Ndlovus’s to becoming a powerful man in the valley as the Regent to the Ngubane Chieftaincy.

“Muzi’s leadership skills, passion and professionalism is impeccable. He is a respectful and loving colleague to everyone that he works with. Our relationship with Muzi doesn’t end now that he is leaving Isibaya, Muzi is and will always be a member of the Bomb production family,” says Desiree Markgraaff of Bomb Productions.
