Twitter Weighs In On The Government’s Plans To Evacuate SA Citizens Living In Wuhan. The CoronaVirus is now a worldwide concern. As soon as it broke out many countries immediately removed their citizens from China. It looks like South Africa is about to follow suite.

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu recently held a media briefing on plans to return South Africans from Wuhan within seven to 10 days.

Mkhize said upon arrival they will be quarantined in an undisclosed location, where family and friends will not be allowed to visit them. Of the 201 South Africans in Wuhan, 151 want to be repatriated and 16 have opted to stay.

Tweeps weighed in on the readiness of the country to bring the 151 people home.
