Sad Note: South Africa Records Its First Deaths From #Coronavirus. It doesn’t get more scarier than this. As the numbers of the coronavirus cases increase, South Africa has recorded two deaths.
Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize shared the sad news on Twitter and other media platforms. The deceased are of the ages of 28 and 48. The two deaths occurred in the Western Cape, one at a private hospital and the other at a public hospital.
A the moment, the confirmed cases has now hit over 1,000.
Globally, there have been 532,926 reported cases, with 24,093 deaths. The US has overtaken China as the country with the most infections.
