Pebetsi Matlaila’s House Helper Takes Her To CCMA
Pebetsi Matlaila’s House Helper Takes Her To CCMA. Many career women have resorted to hiring house helpers to help them with domestic chores. Sadly for some like Pebetsi Matlaila, it never ends well.
The Skeem Saam actress finds herself with a court case after her former domestic worker filed a case of unfair dismissal against her with the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA).
She took to her Instagram to air her frustrations and disappointments at the situation she finds herself in.
“So I just thought I should come out and actually express my anger, disappointment and my frustration at this point in time. I mean, I am seeing flames at this time (all because) I tried doing good by giving a person a job (not knowing) that same person will land me in such a predicament, she said.”
According to Pebetsi her former helper asked for a money advance just over one month into the job. After noticing offish things with her request, Pebetsi decided to let her go, and she was then reported to the CCMA over unfair dismissal.
“I Now a CCMA wanted most wanted,” she captioned her video.
