Cici was hospitalized after the incident, which left her with slim possibilities of ever carrying a baby. She took to social media to remind her fans and the public of what she went through. Cisi posted a short video of her scars, which are located on the left part of her stomach area.
”For the longest time I’ve struggled with forgiveness because I had to wake up to these every morning and they served as constant reminder.I remember going on holiday and trying on a bikini . I took one look at myself in the mirror and just balled my eyes. I was filled with so much anger and hatred. Today I look at my scars and say I’m grateful for life and the courage and strength that God gave me to face each day with love in my heart,” she captioned the video.
Her fans were touched by her scars and showered their idol with messages of comfort. Many reminded Cici that she was strong, talented and beautiful.
