Atandwa Gushes Over His Father DR John Kani Receiving An Honorary Doctorate. One of our national treasures has done us proud again. Veteran actor Dr John Kani received an honorary doctorate from Stellenbosch University Friday morning.

As many people applauded Dr Kani for is achievement, his son Atandwa was not left behind. The actor took to Twitter to gush over his father’s latest achievement.

“If BLESSED was a person, it would be my dad, “The Doc” Dr JK.. Congratulations Ntlotshane, Mhelushe, Mjatya, Ngantlumbe, Mazomthwa, Belenye,” he said.

Upon receiving the honor, Dr Kani took some time to thank he Stellenbosch University. “Thank you to the Stellenbosch University for honoring me this morning with PHD-hoboris causa.
