Twitter Not Happy As Andile Gumbi’s Wife Gets Deprived The Chance Of Attending His Funeral #AfterTears. A few weeks ago, family, friends, colleagues and fans gathered around to bid farewell to Andile Gumbi.
The only person who was missing at the funeral was surprisingly Andile‘s wife. During the latest episode of After Tears, a show on Moja Love channel, it was established that according to culture she was not supposed to be at the cemetery.
Andile’s mom let viewers know that she wasn’t an official bride, henceforth she could only join mourners at church for the service and that was about it!
Twitter wasn’t impressed with this arrangement, and most of them heard about this shocking culture for the first time on the show.
The two have a son together and Andile’s mother suggested live on TV that she be given the child to raise. This also did not swell with tweeps.
