“I Cannot Believe I Was Married to a Con Artist,” Sello Maake KaNcube. As they say, ‘There is a Thin Line Between Love and Hate. One minute you are head over heels in love with someone the next you can’t stand each other. This is more common in divorced couples, who have turned into sworn enemies.

One person who hasn’t had luck in the past when it comes to love is Sello Maake KaNcube. The veteran award winning actor and actor is happily married, but his past is currently making him suffer. In November 2021, he was slapped with a lawsuit from his ex wife Palesa Mboweni. The two got married in a low-key wedding in 2015, and divorced eight months after.

Palesa went on to sue Maake for spousal maintenance, legal fees and R200 000 as an equal share of their Dube house in Soweto, which he owned before tying the knot with her. Maake defaulted in paying, and now the house in which he lives with his new wife Pearl Mbewe might be attached according to Sunday World publication.

He took to social media to pour his heart out on the matter. Maake wishes he never met Thandi Ngxobo as well as ex wife Palesa. He wants his marriage to Palesa annulled, so he moves on with his life. Maake also labeled his ex wife a con artist. He put out a warning out there to men who wants to marry, to do thorough research on their potential spouse.

“I have very little regrets, but there are two women I wish I didn’t or have never met in my life. One is a Thandi Ngcobo who claimed I was her boyfriend. Then my “Ex-wife” and I say this because I plan on getting that marriage annulled, should the law permit and agree with me,” Maake said.
