Check Out The International Awards That Trevor Noah Has Won Over The Years. No local celeb has put us on the world’s map like he has. Just recently Trevor Noah was announced as one of the highest paid comedians in the world.

Now the multi award winning comedian and TV host has just bagged his first Grammy award nomination. With the number of international awards he has won, we are pretty confident he will also bring this one home.

Prestigious International Democracy Award

A few weeks back, Trevor Noah was awarded the prestigious Leadership in Democracy Award in the United States. This is an accolade that recognizes those people or organizations around the world, who are working for democracy and making democracy work through innovative or non-traditional means. The award is granted by the National Democracy Institute (NDI).

NAACP Awards

In February 2017 Noah scooped two NAACP awards for his book Born A Crime. The star won in the Literary Work category: Debut Author and Outstanding Literary Work: Biography/ Autobiography at the awards.

NAACP Award

Again in March 2019, Noah scooped an NAACP award. His show won ‘Best Comedy Writing. The 35-year-old was also up for ‘Outstanding Host in a Talk, Reality, News/Information or Variety Series, which went to Jada Pinkett Smith, for her hit Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk.

Emmy Award

In 2017 Noah won his first Emmy. He won the award for Best Short Form Variety Series, specifically for the popular YouTube insert The Daily Show: Between the Scenes, in which Noah provides web-exclusive commentary to political events in the US and around the world.

MTV Award

In May 2017, he won the award for Best Host at the MTV Movie and TV Awards. Noah beat Ellen Degeneres for the award which is awarded to the person that received the most fan based votes.
