About The Role At Clicks

As a Beauty Assistant, you will report to the Store Manager and service the entire beauty department. Your role will focus on providing expert advice, driving sales performance, and maintaining high standards across merchandising and housekeeping. You will support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers and recommend suitable beauty and skincare products
• Answer product-related questions with confidence and accuracy
• Drive sales through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets within the beauty department
• Monitor product performance and suggest improvements to product offerings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, ranges, promotions, and events
• Execute stock management activities and minimise shrinkage
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration
• Ensure visual merchandising and promotional standards are consistently met
• Act as a brand ambassador by delivering professional and friendly service
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members
• Increase profitability through private label and exclusive product promotion

Requirements

Education and Qualifications

• Grade 12 (essential)
• Relevant beauty or skincare qualification (desirable)

Experience

• Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing (desirable)
