Graphic Designer Wanted At TFG Foschini Division

A creative and challenging position has arisen within the marketing department of TFG Foschini division. As a conceptual yet practical and team oriented person, you will be responsible for designing and producing marketing requirements across the TFG Foschini division brands.
Key activities, amongst others will include:
- Manage the generation and execution of marketing material from design to end printed artwork – from direction given by the creative and conceptual manager
- Constant strategic contribution to creation and conceptualisation of new and fresh ideas
- Working closely with internal agency team to project manage job from start to finish
- Working closely with suppliers, printers and repro houses
- Facilitate reproduction and printing
- Work according to specified budget
- Proficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, specifically Adobe Creative Suites
Requirements:
- Diploma in graphic art/design
- Thorough knowledge and proficient use of Apple Mac operating system and software, Photoshop, InDesign are essential
- Minimum of three to four years’ experience as a graphic designer
- Understanding of branding and corporate identities
- Good knowledge of printing, typography and repro
- Design and layout experience: can work with and craft type
- An eye for photography and not only graphics
- Experience in digital platforms- design only
- Passion for fashion and/or cosmetics
- Ability to be innovative
- Able to work under pressure and has lots of energy and drive
- Organised, deadline driven and excellent with time management
- Works well under pressure and is a fast worker
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible, solution-driven and is a good team player
