Veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara took to Twitter to write an open letter posted asking the Minister of Arts, Sports and Culture Nathi Mthethwa to intervene in the cases of actors getting what they are worth.
Vatiswa spoke about unfair contractual agreements and expectations, poor remuneration, unfair treated by producers, poor oversight by channel, bullying and intimidation. In the statement, Vatiswa also announced she would not be returning to iGazi season 3 to play the role of NomaRussia.
Vatiswa used her case with the Fergusons as an example to make her point. The actress claims that she was offered R110k before taxes over five weeks of work with no limit to calls.
