Nqobile Khumalo Wins An International Award For Her Black Tax Storyline on Scandal! Black tax is a reality of many young black adults. Good thing we have many TV shows like Scandal! that touch on the issue.

A few months ago on Scandal! Hlengiwe Twala who is played by Nqobile Khumalo touched the hearts of many when she had to carry the burden of taking care of her family. She couldn’t even get herself a new place because of the responsibilities.

For that stroryline Khumalo won the Best African Actress at the New Vision International Film Festival (NVIFF) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Another local actor Pallance Dladla received the Best African Actor award at the same event.
