Unathi Enters New Age With New Hairstyle. You know what they say about when a woman changes her hair, she is about to change her life. This is definitely the case with Unathi Nkayi, who is spotting a new hairdo.
The veteran media personality and musician decided to gift herself two things for her birthday. One was a new pixie haircut, which definitely suits her. Unathi has been toying with the idea to do this hairstyle for a whole 15 years, and only now, she decided to go for it. Compliments are flooding in for Unathi, after she showed off her new self.
As another gift to herself, Unathi has taken it upon herself to advance her studies. She has always been big on education. After completing her high school studies at Victoria Girls High School, located in Grahamstown where she grew up, Unathi furthered her studies at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. There she graduated with a degree in International Media Studies. When she returned to South Africa, she enrolled at Rhodes University where she graduated with a degree in Journalism. Her studies has definitely helped her to be a force in the competitive industry, where remaining consistent is difficult. Three years ago, Unathi added yet another feather to her cap, by graduating with a doctorate degree.
Now Unathi has just revealed that she is submitting for her Masters candidacy at Rhodes University. She also shared a touching memory of her late father’s words to her a year ago. Instead of being sad over the loss, Unathi is appreciating all her amazing blessings.
“I gifted myself with two things for my birthday. Education and newness. I’m currently submitting for my masters candidacy at home @rhodes_university and got a cut by @sonnymagic_hair that we’ve been discussing for over 15 years. On my birthday last year my father told me he was ready to leave us. He said ‘Ndidiniwe mna ngoku mntanam and akhonto ndinganenzelanga yona’ which means ‘I am tired now my child and there is nothing I have not done for you.’ We spent his last weeks on earth tightly nit and I thank God for that insight and BLESSING. Today I thought I would be sad but I’m not. The heavens have opened and I welcome this beautiful rainy day of blessings. CAMAGU💫♥️💫,” Unathi said.
