Sad Note: Former Idols SA Contestant Thami Shobede Is Late. Another young life cut shot. Musician and Idols SA runner-up Thami Shobede has died.

The talented musician collapsed when performing on stage over the weekend and subsequently being admitted to Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria According to Sowetan the 31-year-old’s organs failed and he slipped into a coma on Tuesday.

Thami’s rise to fame began in 2016 when he was scouted to join the South African Idols journey.

Although he did not win the competition, he was the runner up and went on to work on his solo music career. In 2017 he released his debut album, Never Lost. Condolences to his family.
