10 Fulfilling Ways To Welcome Spring

10 Fulfilling Ways To Welcome Spring. Winter is almost over and Spring is here. Nature is glowing so should you. The following activities will help you welcome the new season in style.

1. Get Your House and Home Spotless

There’s a reason they call it spring cleaning. A lot of dust and dirt gets trapped in the house over winter because it can’t really be aired out properly. Open the windows, let the outside in and give your house a good once over.

2. Change Your Wardrobe

It’s Spring time, go through your closet. Make room for warm weather clothes by being ruthless about what you never wore this winter and what you aren’t likely to wear in the next. Then take all that stuff to your favorite local charity shop.

3. Eat Outdoors

Serve lunch or dinner on the porch. If my kids have a choice to eat outside in their backyard or go out to their favorite restaurant, hands down, eating outside wins. There’s something special about sharing a meal under the sun. The easy clean up is an added bonus.

4. Get Active

Many people make a New Year’s Resolution to be more active but you can make it your Spring Resolution too. Maybe you’ve fallen off the wagon but there’s no time better than spring to get back on it. You know summer is quickly approaching so your motivation will be at an all time high, and the great weather will make you want to be outside anyway.

5. Plan Your Garden and Outdoor Plants

You can simply purchase your annuals at the nursery in the spring. Pick up your vegetable plants once they are already sprouted, as well as your herbs, now is a wonderful time to plan what you will begin shopping for when the nurseries open up in your area.

6. Plan A Trip

It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, just grab a few friends and take a trip to a nearby town or city and explore for the weekend to welcome spring. We’re all looking for an excuse to get away so Spring time is a perfect one.

7. Grab A Book

Knowledge is power. There is no better way to equip yourself with knowledge than through books. In honor of spring, grab a book you’ve been dying to read, some lemonade, and spend an afternoon outside soaking it all in.

8. Get A New Hairstyle

New season, new me. A new hairstyle will make you feel like a new person and will give you more confidence. You have been wearing protective hairstyles for a while now, it’s time you let your hair breath.

9. Shave

Let’s be honest, unless you’ve had a reason to, chances are you haven’t shaved in the last few weeks, or maybe even months. But “No Shave November” is long over, and if you want your legs to be bare by summer, it might be a good idea to get started now.

10. Set New Goals

A fresh start is a great time to set new goals for yourself. Springtime is the time for new beginnings. If you have a project or an idea that you’ve been putting off, now is the time to start. The creative seeds that you sow now will blossom into something real and tangible later on.
