Teko Modise Forgives His Father. Talk about being the bigger person. After being abandoned by his father when he was just a child, Teko Modise has decided to let bygones be bygones and forgive him.

The former professional soccer player has finally freed himself and buried the hatchet with his father Steve Sekgaila. Modise was abandoned when he was 8 years old, and that subsequently led him to end up on the streets. He opened up about being abandoned in his memoir The Curse of Teko Modise.
