Johnny Clegg Laid To Rest Privately A Day After His Passing. Normally when an icon passes away, everything stops and we throw all our energy on a big send off. This is quite on the contrary with legendary musician Johnny Clegg.

Clegg, who died on Tuesday, was buried privately on Wednesday afternoon at Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg. According to reports, Clegg’s manager Roddy Quin said it was the late musician’s wish to have a private burial.

“Johnny was buried yesterday (Wednesday) at 16h30, just with his family and some of the band members, it was a very private affair which is what the family requested and it was also Johnny’s request,” Quin said.
