Celeb Friendships That Have Lost Their Spark (Part 1)
Celeb Friendships That Have Lost Their Spark (Part 1). Celebs can also go through certain phases in their friendships. Some are just minor issues, whereas in some instances the friendship goes sour for good. When everything is going well, they share with their followers pictures of their vacations, epic parties and all sorts of great memories. Their fans start to notice cracks as soon as they stop hyping and posting each other.
1. Bonang Matheba and Lorna Maseko
The was a time when Lorna and Bonang were inseparable. We lived for their Instagram posts, which showed the two celebs doing anything from luxury spa days to jetting off to yet another weekend getaway. Sadly all of this started diminishing last year, leaving fans with more questions than answers. Although they haven’t opened up about the status of their friendship, actions speak volumes.
2. Boity Thulo and Khanya Mkangisa
There are speculations that a man came between the two former besties. All of a sudden their friendship which has always appeared solid showed cracks. They stopped posting about each other on social media. Boity is now in the Bonang camp. She even made a cameo appearance on Being Bonang Season III first episode. On the other hand Khanya hangs more with Thando Thabethe.
3. Black Coffee and DJ Shimza
Business and pleasure don’t mix. Shimza signed with Black Coffee’s record label, Soulistic Music, in 2013 and released his album Shimuzic. It didn’t do well and he blamed Black Coffee for not promoting it. Last December Coffee opened the first ever Off-White pop up store in Johannesburg and Shimza was not that supportive. Shimza complained about the steep prizing on some of the merchandise. This did not sit well with Black Coffee who tweeted, “Do you call such people friends?”
