Zoleka Mandela Remembers Her Late Daughter Zenani On What Would Have Been Her 22nd Birthday. No parents should bury their child. But sadly many parents have lost their children at young ages. Zoleka Mandela is one parent who knows the pain of loosing a child.

She tragically lost two of her children. The recently took to Instagram to remember one of her late children Zenani Mandela who died in a car crash. She shared a picture of Zenani and captioned it with a heartfelt message.

“This is is a picture that was taken of me and my baby back in 1997, I was 17yrs old and had just given birth to her – my only best friend and daughter … Zenani Zanethemba Mandela. My daughter would have been celebrating her 22nd birthday today … Happy birthday in Heaven, baby,” Zoleka said.

Grandmother Zinzi also paid tribute to Zenani. “I will always carry you in my heart Zeni Beni,” she said.
