“They Keep Talking, I Keep Winning,” Caster Semenya on Her Latest Win
“They Keep Talking, I Keep Winning,” Caster Semenya on Her Latest Win. Ain’t nothing stopping her form being the champ that she is. On Tuesday Caster Semenya won a 2000m race in Montreuil, east of Paris, amid her ongoing legal battle with the IAAF over its testosterone rules.
Caster finished in 5min 38.19sec ahead of Ethiopian pair Hawi Feysa and Adanech Anbesa. Although the 800m champion is going through a legal battle, she beat the odd to claim position one. “They keep talking, I keep winning. Isn’t that beautiful,” she said after her win.
The new IAAF rules require women with higher than normal male hormone levels to artificially lower the amount of testosterone in their bodies if they are to compete in races over distances of 400m to the mile.
