Sport Media Internship Opportunity At Highbury Safika Media

Highbury Safika Media is seeking a soccer intern to work on SASoccermag.co.za.

Key responsibilities:
• Post short website news stories
• Post YouTube videos on the website
• Share website stories/videos on SA Soccer’s Facebook and Twitter accounts using relevant hashtags, and tagging players/coaches/teams
• Post photos, cartoons, graphics etc on SA Soccer’s social media accounts including Instagram
• Tweet score updates during soccer matches
• Research and gather information

Requirements:
• A passion for soccer, digital media and social media
• A good knowledge of soccer, including technical aspects of the game
• Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
• Very good English grammar and spelling skills
• A willingness to work outside office hours when requested (including weekends)
• A willingness to learn
• Computer literate
• Proactive and self-disciplined
• A good team player
• A relevant degree or diploma in journalism
