Social Media/Content Manager Wanted At Penguin Films. Penguin Films is looking for a PR and social media manager to manage the social media and publicity for their exciting slate of productions.

This position requires a confident person with a passion for social media and local celeb news and trends. You should have an excellent all-round knowledge of local television trends and digital marketing. Must be Cape Town-based.

Requirements

• Understanding of the media landscape and different platforms
• Be creative and agile in the always-on environment
• Dynamic, trustworthy and organised individual, who is able to multitask, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure towards deadlines
• Strong computer skills (Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required)
• Strong social media skills (Facebook; Twitter; Instagram)
• Excellent writing skills in both English and Afrikaans are essential
• Code 8 driver’s licence and own transport essential
• Diploma or degree (PR or journalism-related)
• Two to four years of PR and media Hosting working experience
