“I left My Home With Only R500 In Pursuit Of A Job,” Thuso Mbedu. Many people are not successful by chance, they worked hard to be where they are. One such is Thuso Mbedu who left her home with nothing but R500 and a dream.
The 2017 iEmmy Nominee and 2018 SAFTA Best Actress TV Drama Award Winner did not have it easy when she started. She said she had to squatter at friends homes to get by. The situation got so bad that her pastor had to intervene and get her accommodation. But fast forward she is now globally recognized and is a role model to many. Just last month she was recognized by Forbes Africa as one of the Under 30 Leaders.
