Many took to the Twitter to compare skin bleaching to albinism. Refilwe Modiselle took it upon herself to educate them in their ignorance.
The colorism debate indeed sparked a whole lot of issues. “Can ignorant people stop comparing bleached skin to albinism it was never the same thing & is a deep insult to a person like myself who was born & lives with the condition. People with albinism don’t get to choose their complexion. Please stop it. It hurts. Educate yourselves,” Refilwe saidd.
