“Keep Your Next Move Between You and God,” Mercy Mogase Warns Against Over Sharing. In this world of social media we always feel the urge to share a lot of our personal stuff. Be it the new assets that we just bought, vacations we took, the restaurants we visit, the parties we attend, the birth of our children, their achievements as well as our own achievements.
In some cases, there are those who share their plans with whoever is willing to listen. Sometimes though, as Mercy Mogase has noticed, we tend to go overboard and over share. We forget that not everyone will be genuinely happy for our achievements. The reality TV star advised her followers to keep their next move private to avoid seeing their plans mysteriously fail.
“Keep your next move between you and God. The devil cannot destroy what he doesn’t know,” Mercy said.
Mercy admitted that she just like many people out there sometimes over shares personal information. According to her observation, it is not everyone that you tell your news that has your best interest at heart. Mercy pointed out that even if you receive compliments, it doesn’t mean deep down they come from a good place.
“Among the people that you share your business (or potential business) with, there will be:
??Some that are genuinely happy for you and want to see you succeed.
??Those that think you can’t do it – and will do everything to prove themselves right.
??Those that feel threatened by your talent and ability – and don’t want you to succeed
??And the ones that just want to be all up in your business so they have something to gossip about,” Mercy warned.
Her advice is that we should pray and hustle, we should keep our cards closer, we should make silent moves, we should also keep people wondering what we do and let the results do the talking.
