Gogo Maweni Celebrates Her 39th Birthday Reflecting On This Year’s Lessons and Achievements. Today quite a number of our celebrities are celebrating their birthdays. Among them are Ntando Duma, who is turning the milestone age of 30, and Simphiwe Ngema who is 36 today.
Makgotso Mofokeng, popularly known as Gogo Maweni, is also celebrating her birthday today. The celebrity healer and reality show star is turning 39 years of age. To mark the milestone, Maweni took a moment to reflect on the year thus far. There has been a number of highs and lows for her, all of which contribute to the person that she is.
Early this year, Maweni spent some time in prison. This was for serious charges of alleged murder and assault, leveled against her by, Gogo Skhotheni. During a live session on TikTok, Skhotheni detailed these accusations, claiming that one incident involved the death of Maweni’s best friend’s husband. She alleged that Gogo Maweni had orchestrated the murder by luring her friend, King Precious’s husband, outside under the pretense of receiving a gift, where he was subsequently shot and killed.
When she was in prison, Maweni was pregnant, and eventually welcomed twins. On more wins, she states that she has also purchased more cars, a home, and a traditional spa this year.
“Last year I celebrated my wedding, buying a house as well as a townhouse and flipping them into a rental business…2025 started with drama as well as me getting arrested which I’m grateful for as it was the greatest eye opener to appreciating what God & my Ancestors blessed me with! Today I turn 39 and yet again this year we have achieved cars, home, traditional spa as well as the birth of our beloved twins…Happy Birthday to me 🎂❤️,” Mawei said.
