VERIFICATION & VALIDATION OFFICER T.A.S.K LEVEL 10
CLAIMS ORIGINATION DEPARTMENT

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager Origination, the successful candidate will ensure a valid & legitimate claim is being filed.

 

Key Performance Areas
• Apply sound legal (RAF Act & Regulations to Act, Case Law) knowledge on daily basis to validate claims.
• Verify data and information with Home Affairs, HPCSA,SAPS, E¬¬-Natis (print result of Home Affair check & put on file).
• Maintains and update necessary registers on a regular basis as per procedure manual.
• Perform additional work related tasks as instructed by immediate superiors (acting on behalf of Senior, assisting Registration Dept. with the completing of file covers, making photocopies of file contents.
• Raising objections for invalid claims.
• Checking compliance with the RAF act 56 of 1996 as amended.

 

Qualifications and Experience
• Matric + B Degree in Law (advantage) or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in a similar environment.
• Office Management experience.
• Knowledge of Law, Litigation and MVA procedures.

 

Technical and behavioral competencies required
• Knowledge of RAF Act, and MVA procedures.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good organizational, administrative and time management Skills.
• Computer literacy.

 

Remuneration
The total cost to company minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R262 909, 00per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
