Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK) is inviting applications for a Junior Store Salesperson at their Agriland store in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape. This fixed-term contract of three months offers an excellent chance to gain practical sales experience within a dynamic agricultural retail environment. The role provides exposure to retail operations, inventory management, and customer engagement, reporting directly to the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned sections to ensure profitability and efficient operations
- Assist with administrative tasks and inventory management, including stock control and record keeping
- Develop and implement effective selling strategies to meet branch targets
- Provide exceptional customer care, advising clients on products and services
- Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales goals
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English
- General sales orientation and enthusiasm for customer engagement
- Strong planning, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy, including familiarity with retail or administrative systems
