Skeem Saam Introduces New Talent. One thing about Skeem Saam, they always make it a point to give new talent a chance. A lot of actors made a name for themselves in the industry after joining the SABC1 educational drama. In recent years we have seen the likes of Mosa Nkwashu, Lethabo Mekoa, Koketso Machaka, Mahlatsi Moropo, Thabang Lefoa and Thabiso Molokomme shine on Skeem Saam.
This time around the spotlight is on Relebogile Mothapo, who has just joined the show. She will play the role of Jacqui Monama, who is Melita Kgomo’s daughter. Jacqui is said to be confident, outspoken and full of questions about her life. She is also described as magnetic on screen by the Skeem Saam writing team. Jacqui is a character people will love, hate, and feel for all at once.
15-year-old Relebogile has been passionate about the arts since the age of five. Whether singing, performing or simply entertaining, she has always known that she belongs in the entertainment industry. This year Relebogile has decided to take her passion seriously, and make a career out of it. Being on Skeem Saam is a dream come true for her as she has always wanted to tell stories that make people feel something. She will make her highly anticipated Skeem Saam debut on Wednesday 19th of November.
