Thuso Mbedu Impresses South Africa With Her Amazing Acting Skills As An FBI Agent On TASK. There is a reason why she bags all those international awards. Thuso Mbedu, is great at what she does as an actress. Not only has she penetrated the International space, Thuso is also dominating it.
Currently Thuso plays Aleah Clinton, an FBI agent in the new HBO and Showmax crime drama TASK. Agent Clinton, is a no-nonsense police officer who’s only here to do her job then clock out when the shift is done. Even working intimately with a small, scrappy t ask force isn’t enough to soften her tough, all-work-no-play exterior. Clinton is a woman with internal battles who stands tall to protect others. With this role, Thuso has shown another side to her acting, which includes courage, resilience, and empowerment.
This seven-episode series, is created and written by Brad Ingelsby, the mind behind the acclaimed Mare of Easttown. Thuso stars alongside the likes of Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Raúl Castillo, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Fabien Frankel, and Alison Oliver.
