Cici Found Not Guilty For The Assault Charges Against Arthur Mafokate. Monday morning The Midrand Magistrate’s Court found singer Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala not guilty on the assault charges laid by her ex Arthur Mafokate.
This was after Mafokate laid a counter charge of assault against Cici, alleging that she hit him with a coat hanger and a steel chair and bit his arms during a fight. Twala previously took Mafokate to court over an altercation in which he allegedly dragged her with his car.
A few weeks ago Mafokate was removed from his position on the board of the Southern African Music Rights Organization (SAMRO). His fate still hangs in the balance regarding the altercation with Cici. He pleaded not guilty in March and the case has been postponed.
