The controversial couple welcomed their first child and named him Sponge. The nickname came about because because Mampintsha’s mom assumed Babes was not pregnant but kept a sponge in her stomach. The two are not the best of friends, and have said the worst about each other publicly.
Since the child was born in June 2021, the couple has never shown his face on social media. For over a year, they ensure his face is blocked any time, they share his photos or videos online. Even though Sponge has an Instagram page with over 45K followers, his face is concealed on pictures and videos. Those who got lucky to see him are those who came to his 1st birthday celebration back in June. All of this has been done to protect him from any sort of harm.’
Sponge’s parents have now decided that it is time to show off his face. Taking to Instagram, Mampintsha shared his picture and he is as cute as we expected. The musician and reality show star was all proud as he let the world see his son for the first time. Sponge took most of his mother’s facial features including her skin tone. It goes without saying that from now on we will get to see more of Sponge’s face, as he is also a star in his own right.
