This 12 month internship is designed to provide practical workplace exposure in supply chain and business operations within a leading retail and wholesale organisation.

Job Overview

This internship focuses on applying business management principles within a real supply chain environment. You will support operational teams by analysing supply chain performance, assisting with project implementation, and contributing to process improvements.

The role is structured to help you complete the workplace experience required for your National N Diploma while gaining practical skills in logistics, project coordination, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain initiatives to assess feasibility and business impact
• Support implementation of approved supply chain and commercial projects
• Assist in improving supply chain performance indicators and KPIs
• Contribute to project planning aligned with business objectives
• Support development of standard operating procedures and new work processes
• Assist in training teams on updated processes and systems
• Collaborate with IT teams on system improvements and reporting updates
• Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and cost efficiency
• Assist in documenting business processes and workflow improvements
• Provide administrative and analytical support to supply chain teams

Requirements And Skills

• N6 Certificate in Business Management completed
• Must be unemployed and available for a 12 month internship
• South African citizen aged between 18 and 29
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good numeracy and analytical ability
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow structured processes and instructions
