Ntsiki Mazwai Claps Back at Those Judging Her Relationship With Her Father. Just like any father-daughter relationship, Ntsiki and Thami Mazwai have their ups and downs. The good thing is that after everything has been said and done, family remains family.

Quite a number of times Ntsiki has taken to social media to vent about her family. Earlier this year, the award winning poet, musician and artist decided to distance herself from her family, to protect her mental health. She however did not discuss the matter any further.

Of recent though, we have been seeing Ntsiki all civil with her siblings. She recently interviewed her big sister Thandiswa Mazwai on her new podcast, Unpopular Opinion. There the sisters unpacked how their lives changed when their mother passed away 30 years ago. Ntsiki expressed her gratitude towards her sister for stepping up and raising younger siblings, when she was only 16.

It also looks like, she is back on good terms with her father. For years, the two had different ways of looking at things and this affected their relationship. Two years ago, Ntsiki’s father publicly expressed how disappointed he was regarding the open letter that his daughter penned to President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In a shocking turn of events, Ntsiki recently shared a post, where she was with her father on a lunch date. This was such a beautiful and sweet moment of seeing a father and daughter out having some great time. However, some tweeps, who for some reasons inherited the beef, reminded Ntsiki that, she made them believe she wants nothing to do with the man.

“The same people who comment on my relationship with my dad….. Don’t even know their dads. zithandeni man. Leave my private life alone,” Nstiki said.
