Pics! High Fashion Served at Basadi in Music Awards. The theme was simply gowns, tiaras and sneakers. Our female celebrities did not disappoint as they put their best fashion feet forward for the inaugural Basadi in Music Awards.

The awards, which celebrates women in music and the entertainment space, took place this past Saturday the 15th October 2022 at Gallagher Convention Centre. The prestigious event was also streamed live on their YouTube channel.

The hosts for the night were media personalities and musicians, Anele ‘Ney The Bae’ Zondo and Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena. One thing about these two talented ladies, is that they are fashionistas. Boy, and they lived up to everyone’s expectations by slaying each outfit they changed into. For their red carpet outfits, Anele chose Claris by Gerrit Pienaar as her designer, whereas Moozlie went for Sihle the Designer. Anele also looked all sorts of flames, showing off her gorgeous body in an Otsile Sefolo number.

Other A-listers also came to the party with well coordinated outfits. As always the likes of Boity Thulo, Loot Love, Cici, Penny Lebyane and Nadia Nakai, showed us why they still make it on the best dressed lists. Newcomers such as Big Brother Mzansi’s Thato Mokoena, and Mandisa aslos held their own in the red carpet.
